My name is Eric English and I am currently a PhD student in the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago. I am interested in the fields of Public Economics and Industrial Organization. My current research focuses on understanding charter school networks.

I graduated from Northwestern University in 2011 with a Bachelor's in Economics and Mathematics, with a minor in Chinese Language & Culture. I then worked at the Federal Reserve Board for three years in the Global Monetary and Sovereign Markets section.

I enjoy hiking, photography, trivia, soccer, and traveling.

Feel free to contact me at eenglish1@uchicago.edu. I am on the job market in 2019-20 and will be available for interviews at the 2020 ASSA Meeting in San Diego.
